Reuters - FMFC's manager announced a new loan signing, Roslan amidst the goalkeeper crisis. FMFC operated last season with only one professional goalkeeper, using utility players Abu and Shrek as energency cover up. This season however looks different as Hisham Omar will have to go through rehabilitation for his ruptured knee cap. Speaking at the conference, "It is obvious now that one keeper is not enough. We are still looking at the market right now. De-Classico's Roslan, Akinfeev from Moscow and Shay Given from Newcastle are some of our targets."

Doc: Its not looking too good

FMFC number 1 was substituted early on during the match against El-Classico after twisting his troublesome right knee in a collision with fellow defender Irwan.

There was immediate concern for Sham but he stood up and seemed to be on course to play this Sunday. However, the condition of his knee deteriorated and it is reported that Sham now moves around his house with his Ikea roller-chair.

It is most certain now that Sham will miss the match this Sunday and the club doctor said that he will not be in contention to figure in any football matches for weeks.

"I don't blame Irwan. These things happen in football. I wish the guys the best of luck for the rest of the matches. I just want to focus on recovering as soon as possible so I can get back into the team."

Sham has requested that we tell readers of his intention to sell his PSP. Proceeds will go to a charitable cause, himself mainly. We wish him all the best in his recovery.

Dear Mr Adrian,

On behalf of my team, Fake Madrid FC, I would like to express my disappointment at SAFRA’s false claim with regards to its prizes.
After receiving and checking the prizes, I am sure that the SAFRA League organizers have not met the valuation of $4,800 in cash and products promised to the league winners as shown in the advertising poster. The prizes received consist of :
1. A cash cheque of $1000
2. 25 medals
3. An adidas match bag
4. 2 adidas match balls
5. 10 wrist bands
6. 15 jerseys Adidas
The estimated valuation on our part is $2000.00. This is in breach of fair trading laws. I refer to no. 17, Section 4(d) in the Second Schedule of the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading Act) which states;
17. Offering gifts, prizes or other free items in connection with the supply of goods or services if the supplier knows or ought to know that the items will not be provided or provided as offered
I have liaised with representatives from Punggol Rivervale FC and they have also expressed their dissatisfaction with regards to the prizes. To resolve the problem I require that you reimburse us the balance of the promised prize amounting to $2800.00.

Singapore - In the weeks to come, Safra Champions FMFC will begin post-cum-pre season friendlies as they seek to rebuild their fitness and regain their status as worthy champions. FMFC will host De-Classico on 20th July at their Tampines Safra home ground. Seasoned ex-VJC team will be up next the week after, on 27th July, with FMFC playing away at VJC grounds. The ever-present #1 is known for his trademark shouts at his defence. He would often yell out at them for blunders and poor defending and would occasionally single out various individuals in the defence to make his feelings heard. His assured presence in goal has lead to many clean-sheets for the team. Creme de la creme. Also an un-signed musician, Sham's self-titled debut album is available at the club store.

Irwan Suriak, No. 2 | Pos: LB/LW
Ferocious looking, this left-footed never hesitates to join the attack. Although suspect at times, with his inhuman-like speed and runs, he's a great asset to the team.

Azry A.K, No. 3 | Pos: AMR/MC/CF
This player uses his nimble footwork and speed of thought to outdo his opponents, making up for his lack of frame. A player in the mould of Teddy Sheringham, he links up with his teammates to form a very potent attacking force.

Haikal A.B, No. 4 | Pos: CB/LB/LW
This player has risen through the ranks to take the armband. Cool and cultured on the ball, he is able to play the ball out of defence in the style of Fabio Cannavaro. An outstanding leader and motivator.

Aslam Yusoff, No. 5 | Pos: AMC/LW/RW
Alam has had his critics for his seemingly lack of effort, but no one can argue when he turns on the style, there are few better.

Nizam Hashim, No. 7 | Pos: ST/RW
Once the inspirational leader of FMFC, Zam has returned from the troughs of injury to lead FMFC out again, despite the lack of armband. Juggling his motorbike career and footballing career tremendously well, his influence on the pitch is unmistakable. A dead-ball specialist too.

Qader Alsagoff, No. 8 | Pos: RB/RW
Ever-reliable and versatile, this natural winger has been forced to retreat to defence and that has curbed his attacking talents. However being the Qader that he is, he goes around doing his job very well without the slightest noise and an indispensible member of the back four.

Hafiz Khalid, No. 9 | Pos: LW/ST
Describing Apek as tricky is an understatement. Able to double as a forward, his goal record speaks for itself. A major threat to any defence.

Elfi Mustapa, No. 10 | Pos: CB/DMC
With his gazelle-like elegance, speed and maturity, few are able to breach his defence. Always there to clear up the mess, on the ground or in the air, he is reminiscent of Rio Ferdinand.

Saifudeen A.R, No. 11 | Pos: CM/DMC
The workhorse. Captain Marvel. The unassuming leader of FMFC, Bul is the reason why FMFC's defence rarely concedes goals. Always thinking of the team, his workmanship is world-class. With his built and stature and capable of attacking as well, its no wonder many people mistake him for the great Patrick Vieira. Truly a diamond in an Ethiop's ear.

Subhan A.B, No. 12 | Pos: ST/RB (utility)
Few can lay claim to being able to play at opposite ends of the field. The 2nd choice goalkeeper for FMFC, he can also add striking prowess to his curriculum vitae. Forever causing defences trouble with his huge frame, his shot-stopping abilities are nothing short of admirable.

Asyik A.A, No. 13 | Pos: CM/CF/RW
This lanky fellow is the tallest of the bunch, but sadly he doesn't put his height to good use. However, give him the ball at his feet, he's able to unlock the tightest defences with his skill and vision. The playmaker for FMFC, he revelled in the role left vacant by aLam and has not looked back since.

Md Shaari "Shrek", No. 6 | Pos: RB/LB/GK
Shrek has come to FMFC's rescue on numerous occasions as the reserve goalkeeper, but his true strength is his no-nonsense approach in defence. Has no qualms about chopping opponents down and many overlook his effort and contribution to the team on the whole.

Zulkifli Azman, No. 14 | Pos: RW/LW/ST
An extremely valuable addition to the team, Zul brings experience, speed and panache into an already deadly strikeforce. Has repaid FMFC's investment in him with many goals, and many more to come.

Muhadher Mahmud, No. 15 | Pos: AMC/ST
One of the best players FMFC has to offer. Skillful, amazing technique and a certain calmness about him that's rarely found in players.

A.J. Haqqiqi Bakar, No.21 | Pos: AMC
Qiqi's close control of the ball is unbelievable, to say the least. He takes almost no effort in retaining possession and shields the ball away from opponents twice his size with his nifty footwork and deceptive turns. He also has a sharp eye for the killer pass.

Haziq Sudhir, No.16 | Pos: ST/RB/LB
A technically gifted player whose maturity defies his age. Scores goals for fun and has no problems fitting in any position FMFC requires him to perform in.

Faris Raymond, No.17 | Pos: RW/LW/ST
Besides his off-field antics and on-field temper Faris "Raymond" adds a certain edginess and flavour to the team with his darting runs and mazy dribbling, not to mention deadly shooting. Newly enlisted into National Service, hopefully the regimentation will help him settle down and focus on his football.

Abdul Rashid A.R, No.19 | Pos: LW/RW
The youngest in the team, Acit bears no resemblance at all to his tenacious brother, Bul. Instead of grit and determination, he prefers the calling of skill and finesse. A little lightweight, he will have to fill the expectations FMFC has set for him in due time.

Azhar Baksin, No.20 | Pos: RB/LB/CB
Azhar should not be be a defender with the amount of skill that he possesses, but FMFC signed him for his tenacious tackling, lung-bursting runs from defence and composure on the ball at the back. His lion-hearted performances complements Elfi's cool and steely nature, and together they form FMFC's rock-solid foundation.

Khidhir Johari, No.22 | Pos: LB/RB/CB/CF
Khidhir started off at left back but a stint as a forward saw a revelation, he was the target man FMFC sorely lacked. With his build, height and skill he has become the fulcrum on which FMFC's attack balances on.

Khairul Amri, No.23 | Pos: RB/RW
Khairul Amri has fitted into FMFC's back four seamlessly. Another attacking player by nature playing in defence, he makes running up and down the flanks effortless. As the saying goes, attack is the best form of defence, and Khairul Amri stays true to it.

Nur Khair Shamshi, Manager | Pos: CB/Coach
Ask anyone, and they'll admit they miss having The Rock at the back. Almost invicible in his time, injuries has prevented him from reaching his true potential. However, using the crafty brain of his beneath that head of khair, he has turned FMFC into a force to be reckoned with, footballing and marketing terms. Le' magnifique~
